Volunteers working in the Medical Program work in local hospitals and medical clinics in the area of Dharamshala and Palampur.Program placements are available for Medical students as well as professionals. Volunteers assist the doctors , nurses and other medical staff at the projects.
Group medical volunteers joining this program conduct health checkup camps in local schools and villages. Volunteering India offers group placements for students from Medical schools and universities.
Note : An Application Fee of only USD 150 / GBP 101 is required at the time of application. This would confirm your spot and would be refunded if we are not able to provide placement in India.

This program is available for Pre medical as well as Medical students and the minimum age requirement is 18 years. Pre medical students shadow and observe the work of the medical staff and assist in basic work. Medical students also assist the doctors and perform hands on tasks depending on their skill level.
Program Cost and Start Date
Program start on every Monday of the month. You can also join the language and orientation week in Delhi prior to starting your volunteer / internship program. This program starts on every 1st and 3rd Monday and is highly recommended.
