Program Details & Itinerary
Volunteering India Summer 2008 India program in Jaipur
will provide you with a great cultural and volunteering
experience of a lifetime.
Volunteers will work in day care centers known as
'Anganwari's' in India, which are set up by the government
but are usually in very bad condition. Volunteer work will
involve working with children, doing some maintenance work
at the center, teaching, playing and spending time with
the kids. These centers all have women from the villages
and volunteers will get a chance to work with them as
well.

Program itinerary is given below:
DAY 1:
(Arrival in Jaipur & welcome)
Arrival at Jaipur airport/railway

Pickup and transfer to volunteer’s home.

To AGRA
including Taj Mahal Visit on last weekend and drop
off at Delhi for flight back home.

Accommodation & Food
The
volunteers will stay in a flat or a volunteers house
together. The meals will also be served here. Different
facilities would be available for the volunteers in the
volunteer’s home are as follows:
Kitchen & Dining:
Well managed kitchen and dining area in the camp with
facility of preparing traditional and modern food. The
dining space is comfortable and spacious.
Recreation Hall: Arrangement of T.V., DVD and music
system with ample of space to celebrate special occasions
and spent leisure time.
Medical Facilities: Availability of first aid kit.
Program Cost
For the program of 4 weeks $1395 per person
(After 4 weeks of program duration for
extra per week for volunteering only $125 per week)
