What areas did you like about our website?
Detailed discription about each program and testimonials. Facebook Fan Page and You Tube videos were also very helpful. My e-mails were responded very quickly.
Did you enjoy working at your project / placement?
Yes, I became very attached to the children in less than 2 weeks and I was very sad to leave them. It was a very rewarding experience.
How was your accommodation and meals?
The house was great and the meals were also very tasty.
How was your coordinator?
Bobby is very nice and helpful. He made sure that we were always safe and comfortable.

Did you enjoy working at your Project / Placement?
Our group was at Okhla and we thought Mr. Rajiv was very kind and dedicated. We felt very welcome there and the kids were great. We felt that more emphasis should be placed on the way the kids treat each other.
How did you find the accommodation and meals?
Very welcoming and good lodging. Priya's meals were wonderful. We really appreciated the extras, such as the trip to the lotus temple which we did not pay for.
What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip?
Definetely the loving, eager to learn children and the wonderful \'home\' away from home in Delhi.
How was your coordinator and our staff?
Rajiv really helped us at the placement site and we appreciated the info on cinemas, sights etc. Much can be gained at the school where we worked. Thank you for taking care of me and our students!

What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip?
Seeing how the children can progress even in a short space of time and seeing how a little bit of attention makes them so happy. The hospitality of everyone I meet was amazing.

Rajiv has been really great and his knowledge of Delhi / India is invaluable. Always asking if we are ok and if there is anything we want or need.

Very good, Volunteering India were very prompt to any of my queries, e-mails etc.

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and all activities that were involved. Amit and Bobby were very helpful. I also enjoyed Medical checkups at the school fir the intelectually disabled.
How di you find the food and accommodation arrangements?
Food was excellent. The host family was very friendly. I enjoyed my time during my stay with Volunteering India.
Would you recomment Volunteering India to others ?
Yes, I will recommend Volunteering India to other for sure as I believe it was was an invaluable ecperience. It was really a good experince to understand medicine in rural India.

The Pre-departure package was very useful and answered all questions.
Did you enjoy working at your project?
I thoroughly enjoyed working at the New Delhi Orphanage near Nizzamudin. The kids were great and made the placement a memorable experience. I would suggest that a record be taken which explains to future volunteers what previous volunteers have taught or the games played and how well the teachings and games were received. This will improve the teaching of the volunteers to the orphans.
How was your meals and accommodation?
The accommodation was great and helped to make my stay very enjoyable. The meals were very good [Thanks Priya :)] and I loved the potato pumpkin mix.
What was the highlight of your Volunteering experiences and your trip?
The highlight of my volunteering experience was the christmas/New year party at the orphanage and dancing with the kids on "Sheila ki Jawaani". The highlight of my trip was see the Taj Mahal, Humayun's tomb and getting acquinted with the Indian culture.
Would you recommend this program and our organization to others?
Yes, I will recommend this to all my friends and family for sure.

How was your working experience at your project? Did you enjoy your meals and accommodation?
Yes, very much! The people and children were all very nice. The language barrier was a bit difficult in the beginning but I managed and had a good time. about Accommodation, it was pretty good, Had large rooms. Meals were very tasty, I learned to eat some of the recipes and Roti.
Would you recommend this program and our organization to others?
Yes of course, its very good organized and Rajiv and Priya make you feel home and serve from the beginning. That makes it really nice to adjust to India.
What you have to say about Coordinator/Staff?
All very very friendly! Rajiv and Priya are great hosts and will help you with everything also the other Volunteering India staff we met (Sahil, Sunny Dheeraj) were very friendly and helpful. It was nice they took us to places (Palampur, Cinema etc) and we could see the office.
Any comments and Suggestion you want to make.
Suggestions: - If the house is full during winter it may be handy if the other shower has the Hot water too. Maybe breakfast a little late in the weekend to get some extra sleep. I liked it very very much and if possible I would certainly do tis again.

What you have to say about Food/Welcome Dinner/Accommodation?
Food is delicious at home and in restaurants we went. Nice clean room, bed and bathroom which is very convenient.
How was you experience visiting the different historical sites and places of interest in Delhi?
At each place I could spent the whole day, every moment was very impressive. We got detailed explanation about everything. Overall a wonderful experience.

I found the information very helpful and informative. My only suggestion is to send direct email specifically stating someone will be there to pick you up when you arrive.
How was your working experience at your project?
I loved my program and all of the children. I actually enjoyed the Tea gardens in the afternoon more than the day care. may be that can be a program of its own in the future.
Did you enjoy your meals and accommodation?
I thought both the accommodations and meals were amazing! I enjoyed getting to know the families and other volunteers the most. I hope I can come back stay again.
What was the highlight of your Volunteering experiences and your trip?
Getting to know the kids and people. I loved everything from the Volunteering itself to weekend trips and conversation with Rajiv and bobby.

Yes, I would definitely recommend the program and I plan to when I get home.

What areas did you like about our website?
The site was easy to use and navigate. The actual process of signing up for Volunteering work was easy and fast.

Everything was pretty good.

The pre-departure packet was fairly comprehensive; it gave me all the vital information about what to bring, what to expect etc.
Did you enjoy working at your project?
Yes, I was fortunate to have been placed at such an excellent orphanage with such great kids. These past three months have been amazing.
How was your meals and accommodation?
Great accommodations. I was always comfortable and well taken care of. Meals were awesome. My hosts consistently made good, satisfying food that I grew to love.
What was the highlight of your Volunteering experiences and your trip?
I really enjoyed spending so time with boys at this orphanage. Aside from that, the Durga puja festivities were simple mind-blowing, especially when viewed by motorbike.

Yes, I will for sure.

Mithu has become a close friend to me. He made my stay very enjoyable and looked after my every need. He also treated me to a variety of amazing experiences and enabled me to see India like a native Kolkatan.

I felt very prepared and confident when arriving here due to the Pre-Departure booklet and the responses I received to my question.
Did you enjoy working at your project?
I really enjoyed my placement. I loved the interesting commute to and from and there was never a dull moment. Sangita and Irfan were great center leaders and I hope I helped even a little bit and of course the children were great plus very smart.
How was your meals and accommodation?
Thank you very much Rajiv and Priya for accommodating my food allergies. I was always well fed and it was delicious. The accommodation were pretty good as well. Thank you for the internet and satellite.
What was the highlight of your Volunteering experiences and your trip?
My highlight was actually the fellowship and stay sharing between all the girls. Delhi has many girls and it was great to discuss certain things with my fellow Volunteers. Besides that I loved the insanity of Chandni Chowk.
Would you recommend this program and our organization to others?
Yes, I would totally recommend this program for someone who would like to experience Delhi in a safe and thorough manner.

The highlight would have to be working with the children at the center. Its the reason I came here and I feel blessed to have had the time to be with them.

Easy to navigate through clear concise and informative. The information on the weekend excursions sold this trip for me.

Excellent - answered most of the questions I had regarding the placement and associated excursions.

Loved it! Great kids, the Indian women we worked with were a joy to be around and the whole experience was thoroughly rewarding.

Accommodation and meals were excellent. Staying together was a great way to bond with other volunteers. Kitchen staff were polite and wonderful cooks.

Amit and Bobby were organised and accommodating. They really provided home away from home atmosphere.
What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip?
The trekking was awesome and I also enjoyed village life in Palampur. It was a unique Indian experience. Also learning about women in our placement and sharing our stories was also something I will never forget.

What areas did you like about our website?
I general the website is quiet good and easy to follow. The most thing I have liked is the information given for each volunteering from different destinations. I liked the Facebook page so you could contact past volunteers, also meeting people going on the same program as you.
How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare?
The booklet was very informative and helpful. Sahil and Saurabh have helped me a lot all the time, while I was preparing my trip before I came to India via FaceBook and I really appreciate it.
Did you enjoy working at your project / placement?
I really enjoyed it. It has been a great experience working with the kids and see them happy and enjoy with us. I am now thinking of doing some volunteering in South America.
Accommodation and meals
The accommodation was better than I was expecting, very clean and comfortable. I didn't try before vegetarian food but it was delicious.

Our coordinators both in Delhi and Palampur have been great, they were friendly, kind and very helpful. Thank you so much for everything and good luck with new volunteers!

About my trip it has been good to be in India and know the culture and about India. About the volunteering the kids enjoying with us everyday and to make them happy.

Yes.

I will really recommend this to everyone in UK and Spain. I think it is a great opportunity to help and make the children happy which come from poor families and do not have many resources. Also to be involved with different culture and customs in the country and meet new people from around the world as I have meet from Australia, Canada and USA during the program.
