There are a large number of poor and orphan children in India who are without homes are given refuge in orphanages and shelter homes being run by various non government organizations throughout India. These are distressed children who come from difficult circumstances that detach them from the joys of childhood. These orphans require love, care, affection warmth and education.Volunteer assistance is very much needed at these Orphanages. Volunteers assist the children with their education, through taking extracurricular lessons, assisting with homework and helping with general education on life skills such as personal hygiene. In many of the orphanage placements, volunteers live on site at the orphanage with the children. The Orphanage Program is available at the following locations– Delhi, Calcutta (Kolkata) & Bangalore |

The minimum age requirement for joining the program is 17 years.Volunteers need to have an open mind and flexible attitude for working in a new and different environment. Volunteers can choose to start their program on any Monday throughout the year. |
