One price covers what you need on the ground, from the moment we meet you at the airport.
In every program
- Pre-departure information: what to pack, visa and health guidance, Indian customs and your coordinator’s details.
- Airport pickup on your start date.
- Orientation in your first days, and a first trip to your project with your coordinator.
- Accommodation for your whole program.
- Meals as listed for your city and program.
- Your project placement and a local coordinator.
- Support from our team at any hour, every day of your stay.
- A certificate of participation, if you ask for one.
In Delhi
- A shared room at our base in South Delhi, a short walk from the Metro.
- Breakfast and dinner, Monday to Saturday.
- Pickup at Delhi airport between 8am and 8pm on your start date.
In Jaipur
- Your choice of our volunteer house or a local host family.
- Three meals a day.
- Pickup at Jaipur airport or railway station, and your drop-off when you leave.
The two-week specials and the Hindi & culture week include the sightseeing, transport and meals listed in their day-by-day plans.
Not included
- Flights to and from India
- Your visa
- Travel and medical insurance, which is compulsory
- Vaccinations
- Local transport to and from your project
- In Delhi, lunch on project days and meals on Sundays
- Weekend trips and monument entry fees
- A local SIM card, laundry, bottled water and personal spending
Extras we can arrange
- A private room in Delhi, at extra cost.
- A Delhi airport pickup outside 8am to 8pm, or a transfer back to the airport when you leave, at extra cost.
- Weekend trips to Agra, Jaipur, Amritsar and Varanasi.
- The Hindi & culture week before your placement.
